Facing Anxiety Self-Help Group coming soon

Hi Everyone,

People with problem anxiety and phobias can join a new, free self-help group in Burwood in early April. The group will follow a structured program for 12 weeks and will meet next Monday evening at 6:30 p.m.

The self-help group is part of the Mental Health Association’s ‘Facing Anxiety’ program. Statistics show that around ten per cent of Australians will be affected by an anxiety disorder at some point in their lives.

To join the Facing Anxiety self-help group in Burwood phone Linda during office hours on (02) 9339 6093. All enquires will be treated as confidential.

To find out more, visit www.mentalhealth.asn.au. The Facing Anxiety program is funded by NSW Health so there is no charge to participate.

Due to the success of the first group and a demand for a follow-up group, the Mental Health Association of NSW is hosting another work group this time based in Straithfield. Below is the promotion:

Then join a free self help group commencing in Strathfield Monday evenings, starting on  10th of September 2012 from 6.30pm -8pm.
